A mobile clinic for a fast diagnosis
Tim Meade is a doctor and founder of the Tiny Tim and Friends foundation. He has been helping to combat HIV/AIDS for years. He also supports the Transit Home of Hope.
When Tim still was practicing medicine, he often saw sick children being brought to the hospital. By then, the HIV infection was already at an advanced stage. Treatment for these children often came too late.

"I help women and children infected with HIV to build up a healthy and independent life." |
This was the reason for setting up a mobile clinic, that consists of a team of doctors, counsellors and a driver. The mobile clinic visits various orphanages, schools and shelters to test children for HIC. This way, the children can get the treatment they need before it is too late.
Another part of Tiny Tim and Friends is the Jon Hospice, which provides accommodation for seriously ill HIV/AIDS patients. Orange Babies ensues that AIDS inhibitors are available for children awaiting entry into the government programme. These AIDS inhibitors can help the children before they enter the programme.
In later 2009, Tiny Tim and Friends launched a new unique project called the Children Support Group. This is programme that teaches HIV-infected children learn about their infection and how to live with it in a fun, but educational setting.
