Good Hope Hostel
Location: Witkop, Namibia

A safe haven for orphans
The Good Hope Hostel was founded in 1982 to give underprivileged children and orphans a safe have, providing assistance, education and religious training. These children attend the nearest elementary school. The hostel also accommodates children from the area and orphans placed there by social workers. The children range from 6 to 17 years of age.

“Thanks to Orange Babies, we can pay for food, which means we have one less thing to worry about and can concentrate on the children themselves”.

Based on an urgent request, the Good Hope hostel received a grant from Orange Babies, making it possible for all the 80 children who live there to receive all basic amenities. The building also need to be renovated.
With the assistance of Orange Babies, the children’s basic needs are also met: food, blankets, clothes, shoes and education.
